Wolf Blitzer’s Parents Survived the Holocaust

Wolf Isaac Blitzer was born in Augsburg, Germany, to Cesia and David Blitzer, on March 22, 1948. When he was one year old, his parent moved to the Buffalo, New York suburb of Kenmore. He was raised in Kenmore.

Wolf’s parents’ were Jewish refugees from Poland who survived the Auschwitz concentration camp. But sadly, all from his father’s side died. Wolf pursued a bachelor’s degree in Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1970.
