James Rubin Earned a degree in an MIA in 1984
James Philip Rubin, aka Jamie, is the son of Harvey Rubin, a publisher and President of Rinder Press and his wife Judith Lowe, who is psychiatry. Rubin was born and raised into a Jewish family in Larchmont, Westchester County, New York.

After that, he hosted a weekly international affairs program, Wide Angle, on PBS Network. After returning to the USA, he worked for Bloomberg News in December 2010 but quit his job ten months later. In 2013, he moved along with his family to London to work on several projects. He also wrote weekly foreign affairs column for the Sunday Times.
